  2. So in the UC timeline Anaheim Electronics supplies Zeon and Earth Fed with the bulk of their MSes. Why then are the designs so different for example Zaku vs GM. Why is it Earth Fed has "exclusive rights" to the "Gindams" or the Delta verities??

    1. Anaheim Electronics is comprised of all three civilian contractors that made Zeon Mobile Suits during the One Year War (the EFF had the GM made on their own since AE didn't exist yet). The Earth Federation wanted ALL of Zeon's MS research since, even though The Principality lost, they were leaps and bounds ahead of Them in MS development (The Gelgoog was far superior to the RGM-79 GM and could keep up with the Gundam, for example). Eventually, AE would supply people like Neo-Zeon and the A.E.U.G. simply because there were still plenty of anti-earth/Zeon sympathizers within its MANY departments. There are so many, in fact, that each one acts independently and can supply virtually ANYONE with whatever MS they could possibly want-for the right price, of course. and the "Gundam" and "Delta" designs are only exclusive to the EFF because they're the ones who order them.

  6. I'm disappointed that nobody has realised that the joke is that the "ZZ" of "ZZ Gundam" could also be pronounced "Zee Zee" and in Japanese would be pronounced "Jiji". Jiji Gundam? Jiji as in old man? Geddit? :-)
