  1. I'm not surprised if SD Star Wining can transform into regular HG form.

    1. Not to Criticize you guys all that much but if you look closely to the box art It will in fact change size from SD to HG. Just look closely that isn't an armored up Try Burning that is a Gundam all its own. Now I'm not saying that it can't combine with the others but It will definitely become close to if not a full size Gundam. I think its kinda a cool idea personally.

    2. Please check the posted date of the comment. Boxart was not available yet that time.

    3. Sure, reply to someone who barely had knowledge of the product 2-3 months ago

  2. It looks like it can transform from an SD into a 1/144 HG

  3. the backpack looks like his belly, calf, and forearm, i think it can transform into regular mode

    ReplyDelete
  4. I think that he will provide Try Burning Gundam for its arm and leg with that backpack. More like the Star Form (^^)v

  5. I'm actually pretty much into this kit XD

  6. maybe it can turn into an HG like this unit.

  7. I feel like the backpack is arms and legs for the sd itself; turns the sd bigger, not for the two other gundams in the team.

    ReplyDelete
  8. its actually a parts for try burning gundam armor and sword

    1. No it's not. What you're talking about is a fan-made photoshopping of the combined kits. If you logically think about it the back pack DOES in fact seem like extra parts for the Star Winning to go into HG mode.

    2. I think it be both.. on ep 14 fumina said will keep support build burning and lightning gundam.. and can be hg gundam.. can be seen in the bew op

    3. In episode 18 Fumina uses the star funnels to transform the star winning gundam into "Real Mode," an HG 1/144 gundam.

  9. If you check the new OP, you'll see a scene with Lady and Fumina facing each other. Between them there's a silhouette of a Gundam. Someone adjusted the image to make silhouette more visible:

Either that's Try Burning + Star Winning fusion or it's a "Grown up" Star Winning Gundam. But when I take a closer look, I think it's more of the latter. Because in the first place, the antenna of the SW Gundam's head is too big for TB Gundam's head.

However, SW Gundam's function as a support unit still exist. Unlike Winning Gundam which only amplifies a certain part or a weapon, SW Gundam perhaps may serve as armor parts for both TB Gundam and Lightning Gundam FV. Like Lugia said, It's a Saint Cloth... for Gundams.

    1. if you look at SW's v-fin closely
it looks like there's a smaller one on it
so it might just be possible for TB and SW to 'combine'

    2. That just makes me even more excited to see new episodes, and makes my wallet cry :(

    3. While I get your point, I feel it's important to note Lady hints that she's lacking personal power. Thus I agree with the first two commenters that it can most likely use those parts to become a 1/144 HG.

      Delete
    4. I Agree...also in the episode where they created the upgrades of their gunpla, Fumina said that the keypoints to her new gunpla is SD and Real which means that it will indeed turn into a 1/144 scale

      Delete
  10. Watch the show you ppl.

Lady criticize her for being too supportive and then she build this gunpla. Do you think this suit will support even more with becoming armor bullshit???

    1. Might be Fumina to show another lesson of "Be Yourself"

      Delete
  11. Didn't she say something like that it's key words were SD and RG? As in super deformed and real grade.

  12. I duno...I noticed the backpack consisted of the legs and hands armor?? maybe just like what they said it provide some armor boost for TB or lightning gundam~

    ReplyDelete
  13. oh forgot mention. The center piece of the backpack which connect the arm and leg like pieces, it looks like a torso. maybe it function like 00 Seravee backpack (seraphim)???

    1. Look at the background of the boxart, you may see something interesting.

  14. the the hg transformation form is spoiled before show in the series! woo hoo!

    ReplyDelete
  15. the box art just confirmed that star winning can transform to SD to normal scale!

the backpack will form the abs, forearm and lower legs.

i wonder where will that normal scale head come from though...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. maybe you attach it separately like the gaia gundam kit?

      Delete
  16. so it actually becomes a hg

    ReplyDelete
  17. I just noticed that in the top right hand corner of the box art, you can see the normal proportioned version of Star Winning.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Everything seems to point to the SD turning into an HG. The things tucked in the "shin" parts look like upper thighs that "pop" out, and the SD's forearms may just turn into the HG's upper arm in transformations. Not to mention the box art is a dead give away lol
I'm really tempted to get this now!

    ReplyDelete
  19. is it me or the HG version of Star Winning Gundam Look like 00 Gundam ??

    ReplyDelete
  20. The Box Shows a HG version on the top right corner.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Well... the new box cover just answered all our suspicion.

    ReplyDelete
  22. well, by looking at box art, it's official that star winning gundam can transform to HG size

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well, the boxart confirms what we all knew.

    ReplyDelete
  24. The boxart answers everything

    ReplyDelete
  25. The boxart answers everything

    ReplyDelete
  26. And the boxart finally reveals the secret before the anime did. Way to spoil the show. LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  27. That confirms it. Top right picture of the box art shows it transformed. Can't wait to see it in action in the show!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Spoiler alert, it can becomes HG

    ReplyDelete
  29. HG MODE CONFIRMED. ITS ON THE BOX

    ReplyDelete
  30. maybe everyone should just shut it, and look at the damn box art, you clearly see it behind the SD in the foreground.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Dammit Bandai, show the HG mode already! Your box art confirmed it. How long do you want to keep it a surprise?

    ReplyDelete
  32. box art shows that it can transform into hg mode~ holysh**

    ReplyDelete
  33. Well box art just confirmed that it can transform to a 1/144. Question is how can it pose a threat to Shia's gunpla by just being able to transform.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Did anyone else notice the box containing a semi-spoiler? It TRANSFORMS in to a regular sized gundam.

    ReplyDelete
  35. HG form confirmed :P

    ReplyDelete
  36. I had a feeling about this from the start, but the box art confirmed what I was thinking about. It has a transformation similar to some of the older SDs from way back in the day like this one: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10114226 where the HG limbs are accessories in normal SD mode and are used in some other fashion before looking like a normal 1/144 gundam

    ReplyDelete
  37. I think it really can transform into an HG.. Just look at the image at the back of SW on the BOX, it actually look like all the parts re-assembled from SD to HG

    ReplyDelete
  38. Too bad the real world Star Winning Gundam model kit may not have the High Grade parts for transformation as it would meant to be released as a Super Deformed Gunpla.

But still I can fear that Bandai may release the Star Winning's HG inner frame and HG extra parts as a P-Bandai Online set that would be named the "Star Winning (SD to HG) Inner Frame & Alternate Parts" or something like that, which could dash our chances of getting a regular 2 separate kit set for this new Gunpla.

    ReplyDelete
  39. look at the box art 's right corner.....star winning may transform into 1/144 gundam(using the backpack parts) from SD

    ReplyDelete
  40. Well after today I can say our thoughts on its third mode are confirmed~ Def buying for sure even more now~!

    ReplyDelete
  41. well boxart definitely shows how it looks like as a full hg kit.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Wait there is a pic of an hg gundam on the box art lol

    ReplyDelete
  43. MY OPINION
if im not wrong, it will transform itself into a HG form.
the centre piece of the backpack is going to become the waist section
the bigger pieces on the backpack is the legs, and the small ones a re the arm joins.
look closely, notice how if you remove the feet and hands, the seams for the backpack parts actually fit together perfectly?, especially the waist section.
    just an observation and opinion.
    Thanks for reading!

    1. Well maybe in the anime that the Star Winning can do that, for the real world Star Winning kit to transform into a High Grade we require:

      1. a HG inner frame for the kit.
      2. More HG-type parts as the Super Deformed kit don't have enough parts to complete its HG form.

      Delete
    2. It shouldn't be too hard to put in the HG joints system into the model kit, for SD mode, it would just have to be a high grade with super short arms and legs

      Delete
  44. the Box art may spoil the surprise of it turning into HG 144 scale but we could be deceived by that. in anycase truth be told Fumina will not reveal that function until maybe facing Shia in her G-Portent and proving to Lady Kawaguchi that she too has the capability to be her "rival"/successor in the near future thus proving her value as team leader and gunpla builder

    ReplyDelete
  45. I dont know... judging from the pictures so far and the price point, it doesn't really seem like the kit would be able to pull of a proper transformation... if it does, i think it would look.. awkward to say the least. but well will see what bandai has up their sleeves

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. hey you should not doubt the ability to turn into 144 scale properly, bandai would not risk producing something that they are sponsoring to be poorly made, these are after all what's making them money and when it comes to cash people take things very seriously.

      Delete
    2. tried typing this twice already but fudged it both times so here's the short version, even if it can transform it might not be able to hold itself together very well just because of how hollow some of the parts look, there's also the chance that because of how low priced the kit is they might try to sell the two modes separate, so we'll have to wait and see if they attempt the transformation at all.

  46. I never paid much attention to this gundam until now, I have to admit I didn't see this coming. I hope it has actual HG joints for real mode, instead of the SD joint system. There better be no parts forming.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I have a feeling you will have to remove the SD head and then attach the HG head for the transformation

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Or the smaller head inside the big sd head

      Delete
  48. The SD musha zeta2 had a similiar transformation from sd to hg mode, so most likely the star winning kit will have the same capabilities

    ReplyDelete
  49. If you watch closely there is a little hole on the SD's backpack in the middle i think that is one of the connecters for the transformation into 1/144 scale model and the funnels(big one) is supposed to be the leg

    ReplyDelete
  50. 1. The stickers are a turn-off.
    2. No giant beam blade.
    3. The SD head backpack is too bulky
    4. The wing pieces should be bigger

I hope there will be a much better MG version of this kit!
